This is the ultimate portable amp for Native American flute players. It's got reverb and delay along with several other interesting effects all built in. You can plug your standard 1/4" microphone plug into this unit, turn on the reverb and instantly sound like you're in a canyon. If you already have a mic with a 1/4" plug, you're in business. The Audio Technica ATR3350 lavaliere microphone that I offer on this site also works very well with this unit.

This powerful little amp runs on 6 AA batteries (not included) and it comes with an AC power adapter. I got 6 days from a set of batteries. You can plug your CD player, iPod or other MP3 player while you play if you want to use accompaniment or if you just want to hear your tunes through the amp. The Roland Micro Cube also has a headphone jack so you can listen in private. I simply can't tell you how happy I am to have one of these after lugging around heavy, complicated sound gear to my shows for the last 12 years. This little gem does everything my sound system did and more, all in one little box. The Roland Micro Cube has 2 watts of power which is enough to get your flute sound out there and with the effects you want without having to carry around all that extra gear. The reverb or the delay (echo) will make you sound like you're in the perfect canyon.
