Here's a nice Em Lacewood flute with a flat end. The piece turned out to be
so close to Em as it was, I decided to to let it be what it wanted to be. This
flute has a nice, full, clear, rich voice. Since it's a one-piece instrument, I
was able to orient the grain so that the "lace" part is on the top and bottom.
My Em flutes are not suitable for folks with small or stiff hands as the holes
are around 1 3/8" apart. My Em flutes can be quite a stretch for smaller hands.
If you can handle a Dm flute, you can probably be OK with my Em flutes.
