You can also see the design changes I've made in my drone flutes to increase the size of the SAC (slow air chamber), stabilization of the birds by nesting them in channels as well as two extra ties to secure them to the instrument. As with all my drones, we have the offset mouthpieces that enable the player to use this flute as a single or a double simply by moving your lips to cover either the elongated part for the melody side as a single or covering the drone opening to get the double sound. I find that this enables the player to play the single side with less chance of adding the drone inadvertently. The player will need good sized hands for this instrument. Your glove size should be large to be able to play comfortably. If you wear a medium sized glove and have good flexibility, you can probably handle this instrument, too. If this flute is too big, I'd recommend the smaller F#m drone which has a higher pitch. Remember, the lower the pitch, the longer the instrument. This applies to every wind instrument.
