On this page you can see an F#m Native American Style flute crafted from Curly Myrtle. It is a one-piece flute, inlaid with Sleeping Beauty cabs along the top between the finger holes. The bird is made of Claro Walnut and I added Turquoise eyes, just for fun. This is a powerful instrument with a full, rich voice. The clear polyurethane brings out the very best of the naturally curly grain in the wood. I know the owner of this instrument will not only be proud to show off the stunning looks of this piece, but the sound and tone will amaze you and all that hear this flute. This Curly Myrtle is not a wood that one will see often. It is a domestic wood and normally has a fairly plain grain. I found this piece a few years ago and have only now crafted it into a truly unique and wonderful sounding musical instrument.
