Native American style flutes by Laughing Crow (Richard Maynard)
Flutes in the Native American Style created by a musician for the musician. (Domestic orders under 4 lbs.)
Another rare find, this amazing Birds Eye Redwood makes quite the beautiful piece. Tuned to the key of F#m, this flute looks stunning. Needless to say, this quality of wood is not easy to come by, but I'm proud to be able to offer it to you here. I've inlaid 4mm turquoise cabs between the finger holes to accentuate the natural "eyes" in the wood. As usual, it's finished with four coats of a high grade acrylic polyurethane which will help the flute last a lifetime. The bird is made of Hawaiian Koa. This is one of the best playing flutes that I have to offer. I'm tempted to keep it for myself as the tone is simply outstanding. You can listen to this marvelous instrument here.
If you're wondering what that is at the tip of the flute, it's a little piece of toothpick that I'm using to keep it from sliding off the surface of the background I'm using for the photograph. If you'd like to own this rare beauty, you may purchase it below. As with all my flutes, I guarantee that you will be totally satisfied with the workmanship, tuning and sound of this flute. Click here to listen to this instrument.
Thank you for looking and listening! Also available is a darker version of this flute. It's nearly identical except quite a bit darker than the flute pictured above. They're both from the same piece of wood with the same finish. I don't know why the second one turned out so dark, but if you like the flute above but want something more brown, you can purchase the darker version below.
